Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our proxy services
- EProxies is a global proxy network providing 72M+ residential IPs across 195+ countries. We help businesses collect web data, manage multiple accounts, verify ads, and more with reliable proxy infrastructure.
- We offer four product lines: Rotating Residential, Static ISP, Unlimited, and SOCKS5 Residential Proxies. Each is designed for different use cases with its own pricing model.
- Yes, all our residential IPs are ethically sourced from real devices with explicit user consent. We comply with all applicable data protection regulations and maintain transparent data practices.
- Yes! You can sign up for a free account to test our proxy network. The trial includes limited bandwidth so you can evaluate performance, speed, and compatibility with your tools before purchasing a plan.
- We support 195+ countries with city-level targeting available in major markets. You can select specific countries, states, or cities when configuring your proxy settings.
- All plans connect through a single gateway: proxy.eproxies.net on port 23333. HTTP, HTTPS, and SOCKS5 all use the same address and port, so you only change the protocol setting in your client. Authenticate with your account username and password, or use whitelist mode if your tool cannot send proxy credentials.
- Add parameters to your proxy username in a fixed order: your account, then -pool-flow, then location flags. Use -region- with a two-letter ISO country code (US, GB, JP), optionally followed by -state- and -city-; city names must be lowercase with no spaces and always require a state. For example, USERNAME-pool-flow-region-US-state-California-city-losangeles targets Los Angeles. You can also target a network with -asn- (such as AS15802) instead of state and city.
- By default, every request gets a new IP. To hold one, append a sticky session to your username: -sid- followed by any 8-character alphanumeric ID, then -ttl- with a duration from 1 to 120 minutes. For example, USERNAME-pool-flow-region-US-sid-a1b2c3d4-ttl-30 keeps the same IP for 30 minutes; switch to a new sid value whenever you want a fresh IP.
- Yes, use whitelist mode. First add your server's outbound IP to the whitelist in the dashboard or via the API, then send a GET request to https://api.eproxies.net/gateway_api/extract_ip to receive ready-to-use ip:port pairs, with count, country, protocol, format, and session parameters available. This mode supports country-level targeting only and is ideal for older tools that cannot handle proxy authentication.
- Work through four checks in order. First, confirm your username and password are correct. Second, make sure your plan still has traffic remaining. Third, verify your username parameters, since the most common mistake is leaving out -pool-flow. Fourth, if you use whitelist mode, confirm your current outbound IP is actually on the whitelist.
- We accept cryptocurrency (USDT, BTC, ETH, TRX, LTC), Alipay (CNY and HKD), and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard). See our Payment Methods page for details on each option.
- Residential proxies are billed per GB of data transferred. You purchase a data allowance (e.g., 5 GB, 20 GB) which is valid for 30 days. Unused data rolls over within the validity period of your plan.
- Yes, you can upgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard. When upgrading, you only pay the difference. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
- We offer a refund within 3 days of purchase if you have used no more than 20% of your plan resources. Contact our support team to initiate a refund request.
- Yes, we offer custom enterprise plans with dedicated account management, volume discounts, SLA guarantees, and priority support. Contact our sales team for a tailored quote.
- We support HTTP, HTTPS, and SOCKS5 — all three protocols run through the same gateway proxy.eproxies.net:23333, so you can switch protocols without changing your configuration. Full TCP and UDP traffic is supported over SOCKS5.
- Integration is simple. After purchasing a plan, you receive proxy credentials (host, port, username, password). Use these in your application, browser, or automation tool. We provide code examples in Python, Node.js, Java, Go, and more.
- Our residential proxies have an average response time under 0.6 seconds. Actual performance may vary based on target website and geographic distance.
- Yes, our residential proxies support sticky sessions from 1 to 120 minutes. Append -sid- with an 8-character alphanumeric ID and -ttl- with the duration in minutes to your proxy username, and the same IP is held for that period. This is useful for tasks that require session persistence, such as account login or multi-step form submissions.
- By default, IPs rotate on each request, giving you a new IP address every time. You can configure rotation intervals or use sticky sessions based on your needs. Rotation is automatic and handled by our proxy gateway.
